The CCT assesses a respondent's capacity to integrate culturally appropriate engagement, assessment and intervention skills in their day-to-day work with Aboriginal people. The CCT takes around 30 minutes to complete and can be completed in a variety of formats including pencil and paper, and online formats (available in January 2006). Once a respondent completes the survey, the information is processed and analysed by IPS. Each service provider who responds receives an individualised and confidential strengths-and-limitations profile. The CCT specifically 'ranks' respondents relative others in the general population (normative data) across five different areas. This includes; (1) Aboriginal Mental Health Knowledge; (2) Aboriginal Mental Health Skills and Abilities (culturally appropriate counselling, assessment and intervention strategies); (3) Beliefs and Attitudes associated with working effectively in Aboriginal Mental Health contexts; (4) Aboriginal Mental Health Resources and Linkages, and finally, (5) Organisational Cultural Competencies. The information presented in the report is then used to design a CSP (see below) to address a respondent's unique professional development needs.
Pricing:
